Frequently Asked Questions

What is your payment and cancellation policy?

Credit cards are required to reserve your vessel. Fares are non-refundable unless it is raining at the time of departure. Occasionally, the weather doesn’t cooperate and Neptune decides to stir up the waters with some rain. In the event that the weather doesn’t allow for our scheduled trip, we will call or text you at least 30 minutes prior to your departure to notify you of the cancellation. We will do our best to reschedule your sail or harbor cruise and make sure you get your authentic Nantucket trip highlight!

Are there food and drinks available?

You may bring beverages and light bites along for your Nantucket sail or harbor cruise. Current Vintage, Epernay, and Brix sell wonderful charcuterie boards.

Where do we get picked up?

The Captain will pick you up on the floating dock at the Town Pier located at 34 Washington Street. Please arrive 10 minutes before your sailing departure.

What are your safety practices onboard?

Our vessels are US Coast Guard certified and are annually inspected. The Captain and crew participate in random drug screenings throughout the season. Life jackets are available on the boats but are not required to be worn by adults and children. Infant life jackets are required on our boats and are provided for our littlest guests.

Where does the sailing route go?

During your private Nantucket sailing charter, you will cruise out of Nantucket Harbor and into the pristine waters of Nantucket Sound.

What attire is recommended?

It's always cooler on the water so we recommend guests bring a jacket or sweater along for their Nantucket sailing charter or harbor cruise.

Where is the closest restroom?

Restrooms are available on the Town Pier adjacent to the Nantucket Harbor Master's Office and we encourage you to use them prior to your departure.
